VADER'S TIE FIGHTER:
VEHICLE VERSION
Darth Vader's TIE fighter is back and better than
ever with this brand new OTC version of the ship. It comes with some more
detailed paint applications in addition to all of the other great '97 features.
The Advanced Imperial Tie Fighter Vehicle stands apart from the traditional Tie
Fighters. There is only one distinct Vader ship and this vehicle comes with a 3
& 3/4" Darth Vader action figure. Place the Dark Lord of the Sith into the
cockpit of his ship, and fire his twin laser cannons. This is the fourth version
of Vader's TIE Fighter since 1977. This version is based completely on the POTF2
(Power Of The Force 2) Green Series version from 1997 with the then brand new re-sculpt
fighter with closed in rear V wing, much the same as the original mpc
model kit with a punch. It comes with all the same features: twin shooting
missile launchers, opening canopy, re-tooled cockpit, but this time it includes
an Action Figure with a cloth cape, ready to pilot you into war! .
EPISODE IV A NEW HOPE - MOVIE SCENE:
Using the stolen plans to pinpoint the Death
Star's weakness, Rebel forces launched a Starfighter attack on the giant Space
Station. Entering the battle, Darth Vader piloted his own specially modified
Advanced Tie Fighter, the TIE Advanced X1 Prototype, which was much faster, more
maneuverable and more lethal than the standard Tie Fighter design. He managed to
destroy most Rebel pilots in the Battle Of Yavin, by pursuing them into the
Death Star's equatorial trench (which run's right across the installations
surface), Vader was forced out of the fight when his own vessel was crippled by
Han Solo's Millennium Falcon .
