Since the 1st of January 2003 Australian Credit Card Merchants have been able to charge a fee for service, or surcharge, on credit card transactions to reflect the cost of accepting such payments. Until now Vega Transports has not passed on these fees in any matter, but due to further changes in the Credit Card Act we, Vega Transports regrettably from the 1st of December 2003 will have to pass on these charges. The Charges to apply are as follows: There will be a $3.00 Transaction surcharge for Authorizations and a Merchant Service Fee (MSF) Of 3.6% will apply to the total cost of your order including Postage. As we have stated these Helmets can be worn with a ready costume. No Helmets have foam inserts because or Licensing, what that means is: The problem with people deciding to wear them as Bike or Motorbike Helmets, yes it may sound funny, but it's the truth, apparently some people tried this in the U.S and lawsuits came about so when new Helmet licenses were granted no foam inserts were allowed to be packaged inside the products. This is another reason why the Helmet line is a limited edition and why the line was sold as a collectible one right at the start, to try and avoid problems with young people and silly people. This also is happening in the U.S with the current Rubies and older Don Post line of Star Wars Helmets. The difference is, the Australian design is much better, more durable, has a collectors box and better and more accurate detail. All Helmets maybe worn for Costumes, however because of Lucasfilm, none of the above helmets have soft foam inserts. Yes you can wear any Helmet on your head, but there is no inserts for comfort. yes you can just buy these the way they are today and wear them with ease, but if you want the best comfort, it's easy to put in a soft foam insert. You can either do this yourself which is not hard, or you can buy the Helmet and pay an extra $25 today with the soft foam insert attached inside. Tips for doing the job yourself: If you'd prefer to do this yourself it is basic, but you should be aware of a few things first: If you either buy or do this option yourself, it will take the collector value of the Helmet down in price, because this modification is not apart of the Helmet series. When doing this option yourself: You can either use soft foam from a Pillow or a soft Bed Mattress, cut which ever foam down into at least 2 blocks for either side of your head, place the foam inside the Helmet with your head to line it all up and see if you like it that way first. When your happy with it, apply some hot glue on the foam and stick it into the helmet and let it dry properly before use! This is just a suggestion, as you may find something better yourself? Although a lot of people don't care and don't want the foam anyway, some do, unless your 100% sure you want the foam insert don't do it or buy it now, it's very easy to do later and remember this modification will drop the value of the Helmet after purchase. We take no responsibility if you damage your helmet in this process, only use what we say as a guide to help you. Note be careful when modifying your helmet and make sure the foam fits best before sticking it in with hot glue and don't burn yourself. The hot glue can be found at any large hardware stores or builder shops, it comes in a package: or something like this: Hot Glue Gun with glue sticks

Payment is to be made by: Credit Card, Western Union Money Transfer or now  INTERNATIONAL Telegraphic Transfer (TT): which is Direct to Account, funds transfer (International Direct Deposit): You can go into any large world-wide bank and pay via cash to transfer into our account. If you are unclear of this option, please email us with your questions, the best form of payment is Direct to account funds transfer because it is faster then using any checks and is the safest way of sending money payment.  No International personal cheques or company cheques accepted. You may send us your credit card details via email in whole or in part e.g, although we do have a secure server some people are afraid of sending all of their details in one email, so if your a worried about that, then just send us 4 emails, e.g the 1st set of numbers in one, the 2nd set of numbers in the 2nd and the 3rd set of numbers with exp date and card holders name in the third one. In the 4th one please remember your billing address, where your credit card billing statements are sent to and also importantly your last 3 digit Verification number, your credit card Verification number which is the last 3 numbers on the back of your card is located behind your normal set of numbers usually located on the top right hand side of the card. Buyers using the Credit Card system must remember to also state there full billing address information details as well. If your Shipping address is the same or is completely different to your billing address, this information is also important and required. Your Billing address is where your bank statements are sent to! Your Shipping address is where your parcel's or mail are sent to. So if these details are different? Please state so. This information is very important and if you do not inform us of these requirements, Card link may not allow the transaction to take place, this security measure usually protects the cardholder from fraud. All credit card information is important and is usually all now required to complete a transaction safely especially when buying overseas.  If your completely worried about email just drop us a fax or try and ring it through. We understand concerns people have with email however it is actually about as good as using an atm machine.  

If your concerned please email us first. If you do not understand how this system works? It's Simple: We require: Full Shipping Address information, Full Billing Address information (Where the card holders bank statements for their credit card are sent to), a contact phone number for both addresses if different- in case International card-link or a bank needs to contact you if for any reason a problem arises. Again: For Australian's we take: Visa Card, Master Card and Bank Card. For International, rest of the world, we only take Visa Card and Master Card credit cards. If you don't want to use Credit Card, Try a Western Union Money Transfer.

ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS:


Orders are processed almost immediately depending on stock. Some Orders may take up to 8 weeks (at the latest) to arrive depending on Helmet production or Stock. If a problem arises, you will be notified immediately by email. No Lay-bys or rain-checks are available. Postage prices listed below include: Postage, Packaging and full Insurance. These prices are standard and no sea or snail mail service is available outside Australia. All Orders are well packed. We will not ship anywhere without registered insurance but that is up to you.
