Luke's X-WING FIGHTER 2-pack Features:

Release series version: This is the 3rd X-Wing made to date by Hasbro since 1995. This version is about twice the size of the 1st release in '95 and twice the size of the Kenner classic's. This addition is an updated '97 version of the POTF2 (Power Of The Force 2) Electronic Power FX Series release, which measures 2 Foot long! The Power FX Series version was made to coincide with the Star Wars Special Edition Trilogy and although not an exclusive it did not make full Australian release at the time. This brand new 3rd addition under the Saga Series banner, is almost the same however the sounds have been striped, the features are slightly different and the detail is slightly better. This new X-Wing exclusive is also 2-Foot Long and will not be available in all stores. This Saga Series release is exclusive to Toys R' Us only. These are currently not shipping in great quantity and could become harder to find then it's first counterparts. Yes the S-Foil (or Wings!) do open and close once together.
NOTE* THIS IS THE FIRST X-WING EVER MADE WHICH LETS YOU PLAY WITH R2-D2 LIKE NEVER BEFORE! YOU CAN PLACE R2-D2 IN AND OUT OF THE X-WING DROID COMPARTMENT!

The exclusive Action figure which accompanies this 2-Pack; R2-D2 (Dagobah), has movable head and legs and is a well detailed figure. R2-D2 is a slightly up-dated figure from the POTF2 series, whilst some people might be going o' no not another R2, this dirty version is quite unique and collectors will want the figure. Along with R2-D2, Luke's X-Wing comes with his unique Survival kit which many have wanted since Empire back in 1980. Collectors also note the plastic window on the box is a bit stronger compared to other window boxed Star Wars exclusive vehicles. This 2-pack is only scheduled for a short release!!!
