AT-ST WALKER: Vehicle version and
movie scene:
To destroy the second Death Star, the Rebels need to gain control of the shield
generator on Endor. Just before the battle begins, the wily Ewok Paploo
commandeers an Imperial speeder bike and creates a diversion that enables the
Rebel strike team to infiltrate the bunker. The Rebel team, led by Han Solo and
Princess Leia, is soon surrounded by Emperor’s troops and pinned down by an
Imperial AT-ST. Just when it looks as if the Rebels are beaten, the Ewoks ambush
the Imperial army in a pivotal battle between the technological brawn of the
Empire and the primitive resourcefulness of the Ewok tribe.
Continuing the series of collector favourite vehicles in diorama scenes, Hasbro
presents an AT-ST with speeder bike and Paploo the Ewok. As seen in Return of
the Jedi, Paploo's speeder bike joyride distracted the Imperial scout troopers
allowing General Solo's team to enter the bunker on Endor.

Original At-St Walker 3pk News
(from early 2001):
The AT-ST Walker 3-Pack which
includes: At-St (Scout) Walker, Paploo Ewok and a Speeder Bike, is coming towards
February / March 2002. At this stage there is again no conformation about the Rumoured
Chewbacca Pilot. Latest reports suggest that a Chewbacca At-St Driver Pilot, or
a re-issued At-St Driver Pilot maybe planned for a possible Power Of The Jedi
2002 release. This set is a U.S.A Toys R' Us Exclusive and it may also turn into
a Toys R' Us Exclusive in Australia as well. The Australian release planned for
around Feb 2002 will be confirmed towards the end of the year, because it's not
clear at this stage if the F.O.B system will be working like it has been, in 2002.
But this 3pk could be one of the first toys made for only one company
distribution since the Original Saga in the early '80s, compared to the likes of
the Original sears (U.S) only World-Wide releases. Look forward to
more Pictures, hopefully soon. The Detail on the Scout Walker will be again
slightly different to the Original Empire '80's and Jedi '84 Series and even
slightly different to the POTF2 '95 Vehicle Series. This new version will
feature unique Return Of The Jedi battle damage scars and markings and slight
colour alterations especially on the Walkers Legs. The basic Cockpit, Cannons
and walking Leg motions will be the same, however the rumoured 2 seater cockpit
for a possible Chewbacca Endor and Ewok or even for 2 At-St Drivers was not
confirmed at Toy Fair and it's unlikely Hasbro will change the At-St mould that
significantly for this vehicle's new release. The Paploo (Ewok) version of this
new 3pk will see the figure again slightly updated or re-sculpted to match the
newest figure character detail and is not the original stamped issue.
